Cisco Meraki Go GR10 and GR60
Directed at the SMB market, the new Cisco Meraki Go 802.11ac APs are available in two models; a GR10 indoor access point and GR60 outdoor access point.

Both Meraki Go APs are dual-band 2x2:2 MIMO devices using internal omni-directional antennas, supporting SU-MIMO and MU-MIMO, MRC, beamforming, and packet aggregation.

Meraki Go APs can be powered by either 12 V DC or 37-57 V PoE. Per Cisco, management and installation for the new APs is easy and streamlined. Using the Meraki Go app for iOS and Android, network admins can remote manage their wireless networks employing features such as web blocking, guest networking, usage limits and alerts. AP management is by app only.

Available now, US customers can buy both Cisco Meraki GR10 and GR60 at prices ranging from $108.99 to $159.99 and $199.99 to $234, respectively.

Do these require Meraki a subscription to keep in operation?

Yes, for each AP you need a subscription of about 32$ annual.

Are these going to replace the small business market units like the Cisco WAP581 units?

read a similar announcement on another market segment...

Seems that Cisco, thru their Meraki business unit, is implementing SDWAN capability for devices like this.

SDWAN is pretty cool - it's like VPN on steroids, and easier to manage...

That seems insanely overpriced if you think of total cost of ownership compared to a non-cloud reliant AP setup.

Keep in mind that when dealing with medium to large enterprise accounts, Cisco does have price flexibility, so it's something to discuss with the rep if one is a current Cisco customer...

To me, Go looks to be aimed at NETGEAR Insight.
